When I was a kid, I remember having a bunch of Evel Knievel toys. I remember watching him on TV, usually the Wide World of Sports, I think. He did incredible things with his motorcycle. There are certain baseball stars of yesterday that bring up certain memories. For Pete Rose, my memories are of Charlie Hustle running down the third base line ready to slide head first into home plate. And he wasn't afraid to take out the catcher to do it.
